On April 2, 2021, the first   phase of UNION Industry Salon was held. Experts from Peking Union Medical   College Hospital, Cancer Hospital, Institute of Medicine, Institute of Medical   Information, China Science News and the pharmaceutical industry investment   field participated in the exchange.

The theme of this salon is   "computational medicine". Dr. Li Jiao from the Institute of Medical   Information gave a wonderful report on "Research and Application of   Machine understandable Medical Knowledge Extraction", and Dr. Niu Gang from   Phil Rivers gave a wonderful report on "The Starting Point of   Computational Medicine". At the meeting, we had a warm exchange and   discussion on our concerns.
